About Sharyn Diamond

Sharyn grew up in Rochester New York, graduated from Alfred State College, and currently lives in Plano Texas with her husband and family.  She retired from her career as an administrative assistant and sales, and discovered a group called Passing Hats which looms hats for chemo patients.  This led to forming her own group to supply local cancer centers with hats.  "Amy's Amazing Hats" came to her as a way to broaden awareness of pediatric cancer, and show children how to be kind, caring and thoughtful to their peers with cancer.  It is with great joy for Sharyn to see this book published with the hopes of making children more supportive and lend a helping hand to a friend with cancer.
